In 1969, Hermann and Elsa Knaus built the Berggasthof Hunerkogel. Today, the inn in Ramsau is run by the third generation of the family, Andreas and Tanja Reinbacher.
They are supported by the senior owners, Gustav and Veronika Reinbacher, who continue to play an active role in the business. In this way, the long-standing tradition is preserved whilst being combined with modern standards. This gives rise to a philosophy based on honesty, hospitality and family solidarity.

His wife, Tanja Reinbacher, is usually at the reception desk to welcome guests and is the first point of contact for any questions or concerns. As a mother of three, she is a true all-rounder and helps out wherever extra support is needed. Together with a small team, she takes care of the cuisine at the Berggasthof– from regional breakfast specialities to hearty dinners made with local ingredients.
