During the winter season, our "Kerzer’l" (candlelight) evenings take place at Berggasthof Hunerkogel on selected dates. As the landscape outside settles into stillness, the interior is illuminated solely by candlelight. This soft light sets the rhythm of the evening, creating a uniquely understated and special atmosphere. In this tranquil setting, you can enjoy a finely curated five-course menu, with both meat and vegetarian options available. Each course flows harmoniously into the evening—without haste, without distraction. Conversations grow quieter, and time regains its significance.
The Kerzer’l evenings are designed for guests who appreciate the beauty of silence. The number of participants is intentionally limited to preserve the intimate atmosphere. Early reservation is recommended.
The Berggasthof Hunerkogel offers ample space and professional catering for coach trips and larger groups. Situated at an altitude of 1,700 metres, the inn serves as a central base for excursions in the Dachstein region. The Reinbacher family, who run the inn, will personally arrange the catering for your outing with a club, a senior citizens’ group or your company, subject to prior booking.
