In Öblarn, around 41 km from your accommodation in Ramsau, you and your family can immerse yourselves in 500 years of mining history! The Öblarn Copper Trail combines fascinating insights into the history of copper and pyrite mining with the history of the village of Öblarn. Particular highlights include the “Thaddäusstollen” exhibition mine, the historic “sulphur furnace” and the unique “silver smelting hearth”. The tour also includes a ride on the tractor-drawn panoramic carriage.

Just 21 km from the Berggasthof Hunerkogel, you can enjoy a thrilling ride with the whole family! The Mountain Go-Kart, a “Harley-style” three-wheeled fun vehicle, is THE summer attraction on the Hochwurzen. After a gondola ride to the starting point and a brief briefing, you’ll race down into the valley over a distance of seven kilometres (approx. 20–30 minutes).
